Hey! Once again I am being very lazy with the posts and for that I apologize. I really don't like just putting up photos, the writer in me just naturally wants to fill up a blank page as soon as I see it. So, I decided to wait a bit until I had enough time to write a proper blog entry. I will keep trying to be more timely!
Also, I mentioned in my last post that I would try to put up a new blog in English. Well, the more I began to think about it, the more I realized that it would be more trouble than anything else! I already have a gazillion e-mail accounts. The last thing I need is 5 different blogs to take care of. However I will keep the domain registered - who knows, I may decided to put it up after all, so keep your eyes open! In the meantime I will try to update the look of this blog
Last week we ended the Don't Stop A.I. Tour 2008, with a series of arena shows, starting off at Nagoya Rainbow(sorry, now GAISHI) Hall, moving on to Osaka Jo Hall and then ending off with two days at the Budokan. Day one of Budokan felt a little strange, probably having to do with the fact that we had been off for about a week and were a little rusty. The final day of the show was the final day of the show, emotions were high and you could feel the energy. I was forcing back tears before I even sang my first note! I managed to hold back the tears until we sang 'My Friend', and then it was all over-full on blubbering till the end of the show. Then more crying backstage, then even more crying at the after party when I had to say good by to the dancers from L.A.
The tour was definitely a learning experience to say the least. I discovered a lot about myself and the way I interact with others, working under pressure and the like.
Thanks to Ai, the band, dancers, and wonderful staff and crew who managed everything from the lighting to climbing three stories to put up and take down the stage every night, for all the hard work, support and laughs! I hope I'll get to work with you all again soon!
